Plantion introduces SKAL-certified organic bouquets
Plantion is expanding its range with organic bouquets from Kwekerij op ’t Hof. Made with organically grown flowers, the bouquets are SKAL-certified and exclusively available through the Plantion webshop. Available in three sizes, with a minimum order quantity of just one bouquet, florists can easily add these organic bouquets to their assortment.
The organic bouquets are carefully arranged by Alida op ’t Hof of Kwekerij op ’t Hof. They are pre-packaged and labelled with a sticker bearing the name ‘Bloemenhofke’, allowing them to be sold in-store as certified organic bouquets carrying the Skal certification mark.
The packaging has also been carefully considered. The bouquets are wrapped in sleeves made from recycled paper.
Three sizes, from just one bouquet
The organic bouquets are available in three sizes:
· Small: 9 to 10 stems
· Medium: 16 to 17 stems
· Large: 20 stems
The minimum order quantity is just one bouquet. This makes it easy for florists to add organic bouquets to their assortment and meet growing consumer demand for more conscious choices.
The organic bouquets from Kwekerij op ’t Hof are available exclusively through the Plantion webshop.
Plantion focuses on organic trade
The introduction of the organic bouquets is part of Plantion’s broader focus on organic trade. The auction clock features a dedicated organic block, highlighting Skal-certified products. Plantion also organizes information sessions for growers on organic cultivation and the requirements and opportunities of Skal certification. These sessions are also planned again for next year.
For growers and buyers with questions about organic supply and purchasing, Plantion has a dedicated point of contact. Paul Heijmink supports growers and buyers with questions about organic products and the trading process.
Through these initiatives, Plantion aims to further strengthen the organic supply chain and make it easier for both growers and florists to work with organically grown flowers and plants.
