Plantion showcasing its new website

Today (1 July), Plantion showcases its new website www.plantion.nl/en/. This site is customer-focused, technically up-to-date and attractive. Similarly, it highlights the fact that Plantion is an innovative, inspiring and connecting marketplace for florists, retailers, wholesalers and producers of flowers and plants.

According to Jill Hulzinga, Plantion’s online communication officer, existing and new customers will now be able to find the most important information they need more easily. “What benefits does Plantion provide? What are the online purchasing options and how does the delivery service work in practice? How can I supply my products? All these issues are briefly described, and you have the option to read more or contact us. It’s also easier now to register directly online as a new buyer or supplier.”

Latest technology

With the previous website being over five years old, the new website has naturally been built using modern-day technology. Hulzinga: “Our new content is more focused on Google, so when customers are exploring a flower auction, intermediary agency or green centre, or thinking of buying flowers or plants, we are aiming to ensure that Plantion is high in the list of sites that show up. Our registration forms have been greatly improved, and it’s also convenient that you can immediately add scheduled activities involving Plantion to your own agenda.”

Have a good look around

Apart from the practical benefits, Hulzinga says that the new site also entices visitors to have a good look around. “First of all, it looks nice and fresh, and is entirely in line with Plantion’s current house style. However, you will also find all kinds of inspiring stories from florists and, what’s more, you can read blogs from employees and clients on a regular basis. In addition, we have videos of activities such as workshops and other sessions. And, last but not least, we have an interactive slide show with the history of Plantion.”
