New appointments and role changes at Plantion
Management Changes
Gerco van de Hoef will join the Plantion management team as Director of Operations on 1 September. In this role, he will focus primarily on internal operations and organization. In addition, he will continue to directly oversee the Facilities and Logistics departments.
This change is linked to the upcoming retirement of Guus van Logtestijn, who has been part of the management team as Commercial Director. Guus will retire at the end of November 2025. After his departure, Plantion’s management team will consist of two members: André van Kruijssen (General Director) and Gerco van de Hoef (Director of Operations).
Plantion expresses its great appreciation for Guus van Logtestijn’s contribution. Under his leadership, the commercial organization has been further developed and strengthened. With his vision and dedication, he has played an important role in developing Plantion into the modern and future-oriented marketplace it is today.
Commercial and Sales Organization
Leon Cobussen has been appointed Manager of Commercial Affairs as of 1 September. He will lead the commercial departments and join the Plantion management team.
Tom van Eck has successfully coordinated the Auction Department over the past year. This role is now formalized: as of 1 September, he has been appointed Coordinator of the Auction Department.
Gerrit Kremer will focus entirely on the German market from 1 September 2025 in his new role as Account Manager Germany. His responsibilities include acquisition and client relationship management for German customers.
